I've been on vacation this week, so it seemed like an appropriate time for a vacation photo. This shot of the Parthenon was taken on the first day of my trip to Greece with Tom, his boss, and his boss's daughter in 1998. Although you can't really see it from this angle, much of the Parthenon and Acropolis were under repair. This past April, just about exactly four years later, on another trip, Tom and I saw the Parthenon again. The repairs were complete, and the landscaping had been freshened up (rollover).
